Over the past seven years Brandon has served as a Cybersecurity Auditor in the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) where he led the execution of cybersecurity penetration tests, indicators of compromise assessments, and network traffic hunt assessments. Brandon now works alongside the Department of Energy’s Office of Cyber Assessment Operations where he acts as a department Subject Matter Expert and plans and conducts classified and unclassified cybersecurity assessments and network penetration tests of operationally diverse computer systems used at DOE facilities. Brandon brings cutting-edge technical expertise to the cybersecurity arena. In addition to his prior service at HHS and current work with the Department of Energy, Brandon served as an Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity at Towson University and Howard Community College in Maryland, as well as teaching cybersecurity courses in the private sector. Brandon earned a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Towson University.

Alex is currently the Chief Information Officer at Mount Saint Mary College. Alex has over 40 years of experience in the IT industry from banking & the finance sector on Wall Street to big pharma and the medical industry in the Hudson Valley. In the IT industry, Alex has done his fair share of security centered work including penetration testing, system hardening and security testing both nationally and internationally. Alex has received a BS in Engineering from SUNY Stony Brook and an MBA from Mount Saint Mary College.

Paige is the Director of Operations at SecurEd Inc where she coordinates the software development and content curation processes for two cybersecurity education products. She is passionate about cyber education and teaches as an adjunct professor at Towson University. She received her Bachelor’s in Information Systems and Master’s in Computer Science from Towson University.
Emily Vogel
Software Architect, SecurEd Inc.

Emily Vogel is a current master’s student at Towson University studying Computer Science. Ever since 2017, they have been involved in research focused on cybersecurity education. Currently, they work for SecurEd Inc. as a Software Architect: developing and planning features for various products. Outside of SecurEd, Emily is actively involved in Software Engineering Club. She also enjoys reading comics, playing video games, and playing tabletop role playing games in her spare time.

Frank Casabianca is the National Security Agency (NSA) Visiting Professor at the US Military Academy at West Point. His 20-year career at NSA includes a variety of assignments in Signals Intelligence and Cybersecurity. Frank naturally has research interests in cryptography and cybersecurity, but secretly longs to spend his time doing recreational math instead.

Brendan attended Mount Saint Mary College from 2013 to 2017, where he received a BA in Information Technology with concentrations in Web Design & Networking. He then went on and received his Master of Science in Cyber Security from Fordham University in 2018. Brendan has been working in the Cybersecurity industry for 4+ years with experience in multiple areas of Cyber Security. Currently, Brendan serves as a Cloud Security Analyst for Tanium, where he works on responding to emerging Cybersecurity threats, and enhancing detection and prevention techniques with a focus on cloud hosting providers. Before joining Tanium in 2021, he served as a Senior Incident Response & Attack Analyst at SKOUT Cybersecurity. At SKOUT, Brendan lead and assisted in incident response engagements from Identification-containment through eradication for organizations that had been affected by cyber-attacks across all phases of the attack lifecycle.
